We are a brother-sister duo who grew up in the Outer Banks . We decided to bring a different spin to Ice Cream and meld our love of adventure to taste new experiences.
Hence - the unique blend of New Zealand Style Ice Cream.
And of course, the shop had to be named after the older sibling, Key, not the younger sister, Mer.
Why the Kiwi Bird & What's Hokey Pokey?
- I'm a Kiwi Bird - a flightless bird without a tail native to New Zealand. I tried KEYZ and soared on an ice cream cone
- hang glider to the land where flight began with the Wright Brothers by Jockey's Ridge State Park!
- Hokey Pokey, and no not the dance, is New Zealand's best secret - honeycomb toffee made from a golden syrup. Try it as a topping or as an ice cream flavor!
